Tennis training for players
In my coaching career I have already worked with more than a dozen male and female players, participating in national as well as international tournaments (with a PZT licence). I am also open to training with new tennis players. I select the training programme individually, which I consider to be crucial in improving everyone's game and their proper development. At the beginning of cooperation, I introduce exercises through which I verify the current tennis level and skills of a given tennis player, thanks to which I can assess his/her technique, strokes, coordination, technical errors, etc. Tennis is a technically difficult sport, which is why it is so important to find, correct or eliminate any technical errors that would be an obstacle to achieving satisfactory goals on court in later years.
During the first two weeks, I observe the player. Then my task is to introduce a detailed plan for the next six months. After such a period, it is possible to determine whether the tennis player is promising and developing well and to assess whether he or she has a chance to reach a high level of sport. Functional training for tennis - motor preparation and prevention. In tennis, the physical aspect of development is just as important as the technical aspect, which is why I pay a lot of attention to motor preparation. I work with a coach who provides functional training. We have developed a system that allows us to work together on important motor aspects such as speed, endurance, strength, power. We want to train effectively, which is why it is so important to choose the intensity of the training. Learning to warm up properly is also important (especially for beginners). This is a basic skill to start with. If these aspects are neglected, unfortunately, but the risk of injury can be increased. This is crucial, as muscles and bones can fail to withstand training and stagnate even a thriving career. Tennis is a demanding sport, so it is also worth paying attention to all elements, only in this way can you continuously become better. For prevention, I recommend massages under the guidance of a professional physiotherapist. Tennis coaching is fundamental, but all the things around are equally important
More about the tennis coach
At the moment, my still high level means that I use my tennis game to play matches with players, regardless of their age category. There are few tennis players in Wroclaw, so a tennis coach must also be a sparring partner. I have most of the tournament balls, which allows for better preparation for specific competitions. My approach to the player is based on mutual respect. I make attempts to create an arrangement where everyone is comfortable and performs to their maximum potential. I am also not afraid to bring up difficult topics that can undoubtedly affect the mentality and therefore the game. I also hold consultations with other coaches regarding their charges. These include assessments from technical (for example, service correction), tactical and motor aspects. If you would like to try something new, please feel free to contact me. The duration of training sessions with players is usually 1.5 hours.
